Cornerstone Awarded West High School Project

Cornerstone was awarded the General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) contract for design and construction services for the renewal of West High School/Romig Middle School. The Anchorage School District, in cooperation with architecture firm Kumin Associates and Cornerstone, will add additional square footages to both campuses using current district wide Educational Specifications while constructing facilities to last at least 40 years based on the District’s design standards.

Work will include demolition, renovation, and new construction features and will address the structure and the site. School will remain in operation during construction. West High and UAA graduate Brian Van Abel, Project Manager, will lead the Cornerstone team.
