DESCRIPTION

Cornerstone collaborated with Nvision Architecture for the completion of this project in two phases with complex sequencing for a large addition to the teaching kitchen areas and precision renovation of the existing kitchen, cafeteria, and classrooms.

Extensive pre-construction services included value engineering recommendations to remove more than 30% from the original project costs. The project was fast-tracked for construction, including early site package preparation, in an effort to minimize the project period and achieve student occupancy in as little time as possible.

This project earned a 2011 AGC of Alaska Award for Meeting the Challenges of a Job $5-15M.

Testimonial

“Cornerstone was wonderful to work with. Their attention to detail was exemplary. Cornerstone was very conscious of controlling costs throughout the project and negotiated with subcontractors and suppliers with the best interest of the Owner in mind. They were always on top of the schedule, submittals, and all administrative aspects. I would gladly work with them again.”
