Sheila Hill Joins Cornerstone as Vice President of Finance

Cornerstone General Contractors (Cornerstone) is proud to announce and welcome Sheila Hill, CPA as Vice President of Finance as of January 2020. In her position, Sheila will lead the firm’s accounting and finance operations as well as oversee talent management for the company.

According to Mike Boots, Cornerstone Controller, “we are extremely happy to have Sheila join the Cornerstone team.  She has exactly the right skills, talent, and experience to help move the company into the future.”

Sheila joins Cornerstone with broad experience in corporate and operational finance including more than 20 years of Alaskan experience as an executive leader in business analytics, treasury, audits, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, business development, and accounting. She began her career in public accounting, served as a controller for several Alaska Native Corporation firms and subsidiaries, and was most recently Chief Financial Officer for another Alaskan construction company.

Sheila double majored with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Management from Fort Lewis College, and continued her education with the Executive Education Course at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. She enjoys volunteering in the community and currently serves as Secretary for the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), Alaska Chapter.  Sheila has been a member of the CFMA chapter board since 2013.
